    Facts: Original Inuit mukluks, originating in Alaska, were made by binding them with animal cartilage and have a center seam running down to the foot of the boot. Traditional Mukluks weighed little and allowed hunters to move very quietly in their eskimo clothing. They were adorned with pompon's and beads and were lined with furs such as beaver,otter,rabbit, fox etc. The design of the men's handmade mukluks for sale were used for the manufacture of cold-weather boots, especially paired with a rugged contemporary sole.
